I just wanted to share with you some of ARK Technical Rescue Training Services accomplishments for 2011:
1.Developed confined space entry program for National Park Service- Mount Rushmore National Memorial.
2.Delivered confined space and rope rescue training for Yuma Proving Grounds Fire Department in Yuma, AZ.
3.Delivered trench rescue equipment competency training for uniformed and civilian employees at Tyndall AFB Fire Department in Panama City, Florida.
4.Provided consulting services to various customers and partners in the areas of safety practices, emergency preparedness, equipment procurement, and rescue training.
5.Participated as lead author in the continuing development of an Incident Commander training text for Jones and Bartlett publishers.
6.Participated in the NFPA 1006 Standards Development/revision process at a meeting in Maryland.
7.Staff members continued their participation in the domestic and international disaster response programs sponsored through FEMA and USAID-OFDA.
8.Staff members participated in the VA TF-1 international disaster response to the earthquake/tsunami in Japan.
